Welcome to the Oth Annual Colorado Blog Awards!

We are the first online awards ceremony designed to honor the best of the Colorado blogosphere. [Quibble with this claim in the comments if you want to, but I am sticking by it.]

Who are we?

We we is you, or me really, but it could be you if you convince me.

What are the prizes?

Prizes? Who said there will be prizes? There might be, but that is one of the many things we are going to need to figure out. We need to decide on the scope of catagories, the methods of voting, the nominating/judging process, and many other things.

Like prizes, right?

Shut up with the prizes thing. There might not be time for anything too stellar, I am thinking mostly ~Awards~. I would like to have the 1st Annual Colorado Blog Awards in August.

Oh, so like statues and stuff. Can we call them the 'Luis'?

Sure, whatever. The idea of having the 0th Annual Awards is so that we can hash these things out as a group, and have it be relevant to the community. Jump in on the comments, and help me do this. I am going to make this happen with or without you, but if you want a hand in this then just start tossing out input. I would love this thing to grow beyond me and have a life of its own.

Why?

So I could win one at some point. Who knows? Maybe there will be prizes.
